I loved this homemade quinoa and sweet potato tikki which is a wholesome healthy snack and delicious as well. It can be had for breakfast and especially in the evening when you have food cravings.
I have added lot of vegetables to it like carrot, onion, beans, peas, green chillies, currypatta, ginger, 1tsp of ghee (for 1 tikki) with green chutney (made with coriander leaves) as a dip with it. To get a good texture to this patty you can add very little suji to your mix.
Where Sweet potato is high in Vitamin A and Vitamin C, the high fiber content of sweet potatoes helps prevent constipation and protects your gut health. It is low on the glycemic index. Most importantly they are rich in antioxidants that protect your body from free radicals. Quinoa being a superfood and is one of the few plant foods that contain sufficient amounts of all nine essential amino acids (Proteins).
