Indian Superfood Gond and Besan ka Laddoo

This winter season keep yourself warm and healthy with this delicious Gond also called Edible Gum and Besan ka Laddoo.

This ‘superfood’ is made of Gond (which helps in boosting immunity, stamina and health), Besan, Almond, Sugar and Ghee which is very nutritious and tasty. Roll this into a small bite size laddoo so that you don’t overeat.

These laddoos improve lactation, strengthen bone mineral density as it is rich in calcium, magnesium and also delivers some protein, it allows faster return to a pre-pregnancy weight. They help in lubricating the joints and reduce back pain along with other joints pain. That is why it is given to pregnant women to nourish them, help them develop strong bones and to prevent back pain.

You can also add saunth, ajwain and til to this recipe especially after your delivery and for lactating mothers.
